Tiger & Bunny 20 My favorite show atm! Man.. everything is getting so intense now! IMLIKEOMGWTFISGOINGTOHAPPENNOW! the villain is a genius~ and now the spoiler part! I don’t get why can’t “the villain” just rewrite Tiger’s memories? it would make his job so much easier and he knows how dumb Tiger is anyways. I lawl’d so hard when Bunny was crying and all, sorry it just doesn’t match his character XD.

Ao No Exorcist 19 Why do I have a feeling there’s gonna be like a season 2.. and season 3 and so on… I never expected AnE to be so boring, I mean it had the best start ever then everything started going downhill. Satan isn’t gonna be the big boss after all *sigh* big disappointment there. I can almost predict everything that’s gonna happen :/ the only thing worth watching was Rin vs Amaimon. That was a one epic fight!

Blood C 6 This show is like a mix between Higurashi and Vampire knight or something like that, nothing like the original blood+. Honestly the main protagonist looks so dumb and her hair is so…poofee + I couldn’t stand her split personality. I was so ready to drop this until people started dying and that was the part where the extreme gore and violence came in. Kinda glad they censored it, it would be horrible if kids were to see this kind of stuff, they would be disturbed.

Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi 6 This is the most cliché show of the summer, complete garbage and a waste of time. If I had to summarize the plot in one sentence it would be “Kids helping Sasuke clone kill his brother” (which is ultimately what’s gonna happen I think) Lol so your thinking, why the hell am I even watching this? I-I don’t know okay I just don’t know.. XD

Kamisama no Memo-chou 4 I guess you can say I’m watching for the sake of watching. Nothing really stands out for me. The life of NEETS is pretty fun~

Mawaru Penguindrum 5 KYAAAAAAAA PENGUINS SO FREAKING CUTEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!~ ok this show isn’t really about penguins it’s about actual people and nothing is more touching than watching the life of loving siblings <33 I have nothing bad to say about this show, it's full of awesomeness, the characters are interesting and the plot unique. I JUST watched the episode where the frog was shitting on Shouma's back LOLOLOLOL TOO FUNNY HAHAHAHA.

No 6 – ep 7 Apparently people thought this was gonna some yaoi show and male viewers weren’t gonna give it a try, I was like “nahh that would be too good to be true” BUT TURNS OUT THEY WERE RIGHT! (although it’s not like hardcore love) I’m still so happy XDDDDDD, the main characters look AND act exactly like Allan and Kanda from D gray man, gosh I love those guys. So far things are getting nice and suspenseful.

SOOO… here’s an update! you may or may not have noticed I made BM private for like 4 days cuz I was trying to look for a new theme, in the end I gave up XD well I made a few new banners w/ photoshop (as you can see below) and decided to put more effort than usual, now when I look back at all the previous banners they were so nooby and simple LOL. anyways I’m super happy with these current ones~

The first one is MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE!..originally it was suppose to be the one and only one but as soon as I found out that this theme has a new muti-header option I had to make moar banners hehe couldn’t resist. I just hope it doesn’t slow down this site or anything >u<

First off, I’ll apologize for not proofreading this post (dont have enough time), I’m just typing blinding right now xD. Sooo this is something I decided to draw randomly: the twins Luki and Noki from Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. I don’t think they ever showed up in the anime but in the manga they do, crazy little girls~

I been spending 1 and a half WEEKS on the lineart alone… can you believe that?? holy cow it took a lot of patience. I kept changing the position and the clothing, then the coloring part took about less than 2 hours! I rushed through it cuz I wanted to post it up xD.

I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF!, it’s gonna look so fantastic when I’m finished!! I never thought I’ll would ever be able to draw and color like this. wow. I read a couple tutorials like Blizz, I’ll quote the one I liked the most:

4. Lining: If you can line well, coloring is a breeze I see this sometimes, but… some people draw too simple a lineart and the coloring comes out a bit wonky. Wouldn’t coloring be much easier if the lines are clean and sufficiently detailed? Then you can magic wand everything. (It’s super fast! how the heck do people do that manual erasing thing?! lol) Also, the added detail will direct where the colors and shading go. I think it’s incredibly hard to make up shadows when there’s not much suggestion from the lineart as to where they go… so yeah, make your life easier and build it up instead of trying to save it at the coloring stage.

Up until now I never thought that lineart was so important like every line needs to be perfect, every little detail means everything! I remember reading something on lulu’s formspring about how if you have a good drawing, it will always be good, coloring will only enhance it or something like that XD~ also I learned about how to MAGIC WANDING EVERYTHING! it saves so much time….seriously who would manually color their base color? (I USED TO DO THAT ALL THE TIME) and also keyboard shortcuts also saves a load of time.

For something to help with proportioning, I think using shapes would be the most helpful. As you practice, you’ll get better at it.

Right from the beginning of time when I started this blog, I think I wrote that I was 17 at the time of starting this blog? that was actually my clone’s real age rather than mine since I was scared of identity theft. In the past my clone helped out a lot with this blog but never gave the commitment to be another user, she sometimes helped me with getting screencaps or write random posts to keep this blog from dying and was also the one who paid for BM’s domain. Not only that but also going on twitter and msn sometimes. SO IN SHORT: The person known as “Ruby” is supposedly 19 and in uni but I’m not XD. So yeah now the secret’s out, I’M SO SORRY TO ALL THOSE I DECEIVED >.<!!

Summary: Paku decides to quit exorcist school, Izumo and Ryuji gets into an argument which resulted in the whole class getting punished. The creepy demon monster from last ep shows up again. It splits into two and one goes after Rin while the other one stays and attack the others. In the end after both monsters get defeated, the evil teachers shows up with Yukio.

Thoughts: Izumo (or Kamiki) is such a adorable character now (Ryuji has a new person to pick a fight with >;3), I love how she was blushing near Rin… IT SEEMS LIKE THEY’RE GETTING SHIPPED TOGETHER!!! though I still prefer ShiemixRin XD. Yeah Izumo isn’t as arrogant and cocky now that her friend is gone, I like her a lot better. That quick backflash of her past was cool, it could have been her mother or someone going psycho and burning the place down. I notice that everyone’s childhood so far is completely messed up by demons, all exactly in the same way….aww poor kids T.T ~

Also, by now everyone should have noticed what’s wrong with this picture:

There seems to be 2 characters who NEVER do ANYTHING.

For story wise, it looks like we’re getting back to the main plot, so far there has been a lot of character development and it looks like most of the major characters are covered now.

And finally the evil teacheer! wow what nerve he has! he shows up with Yukio like nothing happened. I’m interested to see what he plans to do now that Rin knows his identity. The teacher summoned his demon just to test Rin’s powers, it sounds kinda FISHY. Next ep looks super interesting, Mephisto is going to be in it >w< and it looks like he's going to be summoning a demon D:

Each episode is like 50 mins long and there’s 12 eps. The story is about a guy (Shichika) and a girl (Togame) going on an sword hunt adventure, there are 12 swords in total so I guess you can say there’s about 1 sword per episode.

I loved the traditional art and clothing which are so colorful and bright! there were TONS of characters and Japanese terms~ even after finishing the show I still have no idea what are the names for each attack move and each sword is lol. There were also so many characters like.. ninjas, samurai(s), and stuff.

If you plan on watching, I’ll have to warn you. The amount of conversation in this show is beyond long, sometimes you have a whole episode where 2 characters talk straight for 50 mins and no I’m not exaggerating on that part, sometimes the dialogue can be funny tho xD for the action part, hmm I would say the fighting stays constant throughout the whole series. There’s a lot of bloodshed too~ In this era, killing isn’t a sin, you’ll be seeing many people dying so don’t get too attached to any characters.

Togame

I should stop myself from blabbering on~ but I’d like to mention one last thing. which is THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTED EVAR, I feel sorry for those who were keeping up with Katanagatari while it was airing. It’s not much of a spoiler since nothing really happened. See the picture below?

OMG THIS BATTLE NEVER FREAKIN SHOWED. ZERO. NONE WHATSOEVER. Arghhh all they did was talk about it -_- I bet everyone felt so trolled. it was so damn disappointing.

Episode 7 ~Flock of Plovers~
Summary: The class learns about types of exorcists & summoning demons. Shiemi think she made new friends. annd.. lastly the class hangs out at Yukio and Rin’s house, a demon appears and attack the girls.

Today we learn about the different types of exorcist, it’s funny how ep 2 showed an example of all of these. Shiemi’s pet plant was super cuuute xD it was so helpful too. I guess it’s official now, Shiemi’s is gonna be the doctor person for the team. I love the way Rin was worried about Shiemi HEHEHEHE the love is growing stronger each time <33

I REALLY hate snotty type girls who use people as their own personal servants like Kamiki x_x but towards the end it's hard not to feel sympathetic for her. The demon attacking the girls was so cooool *-* and the fact that a TEACHER was behind this…awesome! things are finally getting more suspenseful now. If I had to guess which demon the teacher is working for.. I'll say it would be Mephisto or that Amaimon guy from last last episode, certainly Satan wouldn't want Rin dead would he? hmm..

New Characters: Earth King Amaimon and character intro to Suguro Ryuji.

Summary: Rin and his rival Suguro getting competitive with each other.

Thoughts: I love how there’s so many different teachers other than Yukio, one was even talking about Astaroth! so educational. I wish I was in that class~ it’s so much more interesting than mine =.= then I wouldn’t be falling asleep all the time. There’s also the RinxShiemi going on, ahh it’s so adorable seeing Rin in love XD The Blue night was a interesting historical event, it happened 16 years ago which was around the same time Rin was born, I bet Satan somehow got into Assiah and did something…..bad.

Seeing Suguro and Rin constantly yelling at each other gets annoying very fast, I don’t like Suguro much… duno why.. it must be bc he’s so punkster/delinquent looking xD we got to see more of his past, it was very uninteresting I guess~ harhar I can’t wait to see the backstory of all the other characters :3 There’s also that stuck up purple hair girl who I cannot stand! she’s so cocky >_>

And finally the new character Amaimon (who’s quite obedient o_O) is calling Mephisto his brother… and IS THIS WHAT I’M SEEING?! Mephisto is on Satan’s side!!!?? Omg. *FREAKS OUT* I knew it all along! the point ears and all, how could he not be a demon? wow what a excellent villainnnn! What I got from their convo is that Rin is the youngest brother, so I guess Satan has more than one kid? whoaa o__O and soon they’ll take over the world! (which is what I’m guessing xD)

Next ep looks like a filler~

New character introduced: Shiemi Moriyama

Summary: Rin and Yukio goes to help out Shiemi who has problems with her legs bc of some plant demon.

This is extra but the dude in the comic at the beginning looks exactly like Yukio haha

Thoughts: So the new character is Shiemi! gosh she’s such a cute girl <33 I love her personality and her meeting with Rin was cute! the scenery was beautiful. The thing with her grandma was pretty sad ;A; it was pretty similar with what happened with Father Fujimoto. That evil purple flower that talks reminds me of Goosebumps, anyone remember that show?? there was this one ep where there were talking plants and all, it scared me when I was a kid.

Again, there wasn’t much of a battle in this ep. I guess we gotta be more patient.

I been thinking… could it have been possible that this same purple flower also possessed Shiemi’s grandma and caused her to become paralyzed? then having the grape fence fall down? lol srsly that fence doesn’t even look heavy…

Shiemi has her eyes on Yukio, lol the love triangle xD

This totally feels like the typical shounen show, I miss the intense-ness of the first 2 episodes ;_; ~~ oh well, I’m well prepared with how this series will turn out now, it’s gonna be like: new intro to character, look into their past, be friends, then after that’s done with, they all go to Gehenna and fight Satan~ that’s my guess so far lol I’m not sure if that’s how the manga goes XD it seems so.. dull…

Episode 10 ~Goodbye Days~ All about Yui.

It was nice and happy.. the ending was sweet ;3 Seeing how Hinata suddenly wanting to marry Yui was so awkward, I mean they’re ALWAYS fighting and seeing them in this mushy mushy state didn’t seem right.

Episode 11 ~Change the World~ Battle with the shadow things.

Epic wings!

Kanade with wings looked so epic and not only that but she’s such a fighting machine o_o

OK. At this point. it was a big WTH is going on?! what’s with these shadow things suddenly appearing? And to find out there’s someone behind all of this? my guess is that it has to be Christ, he’s the only computer nerd and no one can use PCs better than him. Well at least it feels like we’re getting somewhere, things are getting suspenseful.

Episode 12 ~Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door~ Everything get solved.
AWW, the second best ep ever! wow so much happened. It was sad to see some of the SSS disappear especially the remaining GirlDeMo members, I probably missed this but Yui disappeared already?!?! wow O_O there was also that fat guy who lost lots of weight, LOOOL I laughed so hard XDD

So now the final part.. oh a new character? he looks cool >w< I wanna see more of him~ turns out that all the shadow stuff were made from something something old creator that who turned himself into a NPC. Yep, then.. that's the end I guess. Everything else was pretty predicable.

Episode 13 ~Graduation~ (END) Time to say goodbye..
It’s time to pretend to graduate from high school XD the biggest slice of life moment ever, I sat there and watched it all. It was surprising how everyone knew how to disappear but chose to stay, sometimes I wonder why can’t they just stay and have some fun together ;_; Yurippe and Kanade finally are getting along, Naoi and Hinata left too~ noooooo T_T it was sad. The final love scene T_T I can imagine many people getting teary eyes, Kanade was keeping Otonashi’s heart, personally to me it wasn’t original cuz I seen a couple love movies with that same situation. Also~ I’m guessing that Kanade died the same time as Otonashi bc she was in the afterworld place before him, heart transplant was unsuccessful D:

If this series was around 24 eps long it wouldn’t have felt so rushed. The part that confused me was how there was a scene of Otonashi and Kanade in the real world and then….
Otonashi being back in the afterworld place helping people move on with their lives, and he’s apparently waiting for a certain someone to come back. He’s gonna end up like the old program creator who was also waiting for someone, the cycle begins again!

It’s sad to see things come to an end. I have to admit, I didn’t tear up one bit. It might be due to the fact that I was very tired at the time of watching the last ep~

Overall, I really liked Angel Beats! it was a very enjoyable show to watch and I loved all the comedy ESPECIALLY THE ROCKET CHAIR EPISODE LOLOLOLOL gosh I can rewatch that over and over again! I was hoping that the series would go in dept with each SSS members but that didn’t happen :T

There were confusing, happy, sad, funny parts which I loved~ The animation quality stayed good, colorful and flashy *_*, characters can look deformed at times, music was nice and there wasn’t any real plot but all the random stuff was still hilarious.

Rating: 7.5/10

Summary: Rin goes to True Cross Academy, learns about Yukio and.. I guess they make up? XD

Thoughts: Ah watching how much your younger brother has grown, must be nice~. Learning that Yukio was a TEACHER was shocking and here I thought he was clueless as to what was going on.

Seeing him shooting demons was coool, I think the animation could have been slightly better~ His fighting inexperience will have to improve since he let his guard down for a second :3 and also, I thought he wanted to be a doctor, not a exorcist xD

Well it’s great to see the brothers on good terms again, it was predicted that Yukio would blame Rin which he really did xD I love all the backflashes, it was soo cuute! Rin is gonna have a hard time with keeping his secret especially when it’s time to battle demons, there’s no way he can hide his flames. As much as I love Rin I couldn’t stand him yelling his lungs out in that annoying whiny voice in most of the time. And let’s see… not much happens, not even some introductions to the classmates (._.) which I guess is for next ep.

Btw Pheles is probably the most innocent looking dog EVAR XD

~Episode 2~ Gehenna’s Gate

Summary: Father Fujimoto and Rin runs back to the church, Shirotori gets repossessed by Astaroth and comes after them. Father gives Rin a sword and explains some stuff, the rest of the exorcist guys fight Astaroth and barely survives. Satan possess Father Fujimoto and drags Rin to the Gehenna gate, Father regains control, he stabs himself and dies. Rin draws out his sword and destroys the gate. Everyone attends Father’s funeral. Pheles Mephisto shows up after getting phoned, he agrees to help Rin become a exorcist to kick Satan’s ass!

SRSLY…..THIS IS ONE VERY SAD EPISODE, SO EFFIN SADDD T.T
Father Fujimoto dying was one of the predictions I had in mind but seeing animated.. I was like NOOOOOOO!!! this can’t be happening! oh gosh I just teared up… there wasn’t any last words or anything like that, he just… died.. T___T I’m gonna miss the old guy. Rin said some pretty harsh words to Father, they were soo hurtful, similar to saying your not my father, your just a stranger! well I’m glad in the end Rin recognizes who’s who.

Next is.. Satan, wow it was well done. All I know is that Satan cannot get into the real world and every human he processes bleeds coz he’s too powerful. I have to admit Satan is a great villain, what’s the best way to make a grand entrance? possessing one of the coolest characters and killing him off. It made me raise a brow after seeing his very immature personality, he doesn’t fit the ideal father at all~ and what does he want with Rin anyways? live together with his son for all eternity? XD

Demons are like vampires! only gets stronger at night and burned by holy water, the way they were animated made them look fearsome. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time with Astaroth and Satan. Why wasn’t there any backup to help out the church guys? surely there should be more exorcists around.
From what I seen, Shirotori got possessed by Astaroth when he began to build up hate and anger which leads me to think that Father got possessed by Satan because he had some doubts/sadness after what Rin said. The way that blood was coming out of his eyes, nose and mouth was sooo sickening! if Rin DID run away while he can, maybe Father wouldn’t have gotten possessed.

Rin being the son of Satan and the enemy of exorcists, I can see this is going to be a hard path for him. Rin looks cuter with the whole pointy ears thing >w< it seems like he's heading to True Cross Adcamay with Yukio. Speaking of Yukio, he was very emotionless… even at the funeral he didn't say much, it's kinda scary o.o

For next ep I'm expecting a slowdown, less action and moar talking…hopefully some intro to the new characters soonish!

Main characters introduced: Rin Okumura, Yukio Okumura, Father Fujimoto, there’s also the bullies Shirotori and his gang.

~Episode 1~ Demons Dwell in the Hearts of Humans

Summary: -Priests at a church burns to death in blue flames- *scene changes* Rin beats up a gang of boys after witnessing them shooting down birds, returns back home. Yukio (the twin brother) fixes up Rin’s wound, some buddies help Rin get a job interview at a grocery store. He messes up on everything except for cooking fried soba~ in the end Rin gets fired after chasing around this little weird monkey monster. He wakes up the next day to find Yukio left already, Shirotori and his gang lures Rin into a deep dark place. Father Fujimoto interferes before anything serious happens and gets rid of the demon in Shirotori then reveals that Rin is the son of Satan.

ED song is “Take Off” by 2PM~ yay a K-pop band! I liked it, and if you looked closely you would have seen characters dancing to the song ^.^ the OP song didn’t show but it’s “Core Pride” by UVERworld.

Thoughts: This series is off to a great start! all the demons/exorcist stuff really interest me. The episode moved at a good paste, very enjoyable to watch. My favorite part is the beginning where people get burned to death, it was pretty intense O_O this is probably one of the best first episodes I seen in a long time, I loved every minute of it. Not much happens storywise but character wise, HELL YEAH IT WAS AWESOMEEE!!

Yukio is fairly calm and mature guy, he already left for school so fast! hopefully he’ll come back soon~ I also notice.. the moles on his face is… abnormal XD Rin treats Yukio really good and rarely get angry but with Father it’s the complete opposite, still, they get along well. The scene with the tie was so heartwarming and memorable. I love Rin most of all because of his his looks, personality, good heart, hotheaded-ness, and the fact that he’s the son of Satan, wow how cool is that?! it was just plain ADORABLE when he made all those mistakes at the grocery store. I was like:

RINNNNN~ WHY U SO CUTEEEE

The theme of parenting was interesting and it’s so true *.* young children often rely heavily on their parents for help and support. Bad parenting would result in those crazy psychopath kinds.

The cliffhanger was so damn GOOD!! so now that Rin founds out he’s Satan’s son, he’ll probably be in shock for a while. A priest and Satan’s son…I wonder how that came to be, Father seemed like he knew all along about this stuff. And with Yukio~ didn’t look like he had any kind of blue flame powers so I wonder if he’s also Satan’s son. I’m so excited to see what’s gonna happen, from the preview it looked like Satan will be around.

I feel like my love for anime has been brought back and my life has some meaning now~ ^_^ My obsession with Rin caused me to completely change the color of this blog’s theme and even make a cool banner, I feel so pro now xD
