Episode 3 ~Brothers~
Summary: Rin goes to True Cross Academy, learns about Yukio and.. I guess they make up? XD
Thoughts: Ah watching how much your younger brother has grown, must be nice~. Learning that Yukio was a TEACHER was shocking and here I thought he was clueless as to what was going on.
Seeing him shooting demons was coool, I think the animation could have been slightly better~ His fighting inexperience will have to improve since he let his guard down for a second :3 and also, I thought he wanted to be a doctor, not a exorcist xD
Well it’s great to see the brothers on good terms again, it was predicted that Yukio would blame Rin which he really did xD I love all the backflashes, it was soo cuute! Rin is gonna have a hard time with keeping his secret especially when it’s time to battle demons, there’s no way he can hide his flames. As much as I love Rin I couldn’t stand him yelling his lungs out in that annoying whiny voice in most of the time. And let’s see… not much happens, not even some introductions to the classmates (._.) which I guess is for next ep.
Btw Pheles is probably the most innocent looking dog EVAR XD
After seeing how Yukio blames Rin and considered taking his life, I’m not too fond of Yukio anymore. I get why he’s acting that way but still, they’re brothers.
I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing now that Rin’s ears have this pointy shape to it but he’s still adorable~
I was pretty shocked on that part, Yukio seemed like the calm mature type and to see him actually angry was scary o_o I’m glad that he didn’t shoot in the end or maybe he’s just really good a bluffing x3

I think Rin’s kind of a dick for yelling all the time, and Yukio’s a dick for blaming him. And yeah, Yukio’s animation could’ve been better, his aim is good but he doesn’t do much. I mean, TAKE A LESSON FROM MAMI OR DANTE
I agree with that part *-* but young teens.. can’t really blame them, hopefully Rin isn’t screaming his lungs out for the rest of the series, I don’t think I’ll be able to stand it. LOLOL! yeah Mami’s aiming is pretty pro for sure, it’s a lot more entertaining to watch her. I haven’t played Devil may cry but I’m guessing Dante’s pretty badass >:3
Ah too bad. I really wanted Mephisto to be his teacher. I thought it was kinda hilarious that he decided to turn into a toy dog. Mephisto is quite eccentric. I wonder if he will ever seem to take stuff seriously. Maybe he’ll be like Izaya and just laugh everything off.
Not much happened this episode, kinda dissapointing.
Mephisto as the teacher?! that thought never crossed my mind :O it’s a interesting idea ^.^ I can imagine Mephisto being really similar to Izaya, they both seem sooo evil in a way *-* When Satan comes, I’m sure he’ll take things seriously, I wanna see like more of what he can do, he doesn’t even look like a exorcist at all xD
Yeah this ep was pretty disappointing, I think it’s gonna continue on like this for the rest of the series :T

For ONCE i wished a shounen hero said “Fuck this shit”, and messed his “brother” up. He was living in a lie for 10 years, the bastard hates his guts, and Rin just goes “eh, whatever, let me be subservient to you”. Shounen…
Double barreled syringe!?? *cringes* oh god that made me goosebumps >__< I'm sure ppl will be delighted to get cured of evil now XD
If only Shounen shows were like that, it would be so much more interesting. and if that happened, I guess lots of exorcist will be coming to hunt Rin down then the series will be short lived u_u
Woooot episode 3! Another good episode, and some new characters! Can’t wait till they get to show off more. Next week looks to be a good one as well!
Actually, only one character was introduced in the next ep T_T so I guess we’ll have to wait till next week for moar characters, even tho the pasting in this and next ep is slow, it’s important for character development :D

I was expecting Rin’s classmates to be introduced this episode. But there was nothing much happened on this episode, just Rin making up with Yukio. And I think Pheles is a very interesting character, like him very much. xD
Hmm.. I don’t think that Yukio had decided whether he should shoot him or not, life’s never that simple. I think it was a way to test him and then depending on the reply Yukio would have to make a choice. It was more like he was taking out the resentment he felt towards his brother for all the difficulties it ment to be able to see demons a such a young age. I don’t think Yukio had any idea how he’s brother would change once his powers were released from the sword.
They didn’t have time to introduce any classmates because of this, it’s an important aspect of the story.
It’s a great manga and the anime seems to be following the story rather closely.
@Ryo_kun – My thoughts exactly! the classmates are gonna be introduced in ep 5 for sure, or at least I think some of them are :3 Pheles is really strange, his clothes is pretty funny, I don’t like him yet~ he’s too mysterious @_@
@abowlofyarn – Yeah your right about that, it must have been hard for Yukio to hide this secret about seeing demons and all~ lol no wonder he seemed so awfully nice all the time, guess he was putting on a nice brother illusion for Rin.
I plan on reading the manga after the series is finished, gosh it’s so exciting >w< the plot for the anime might change slightly cuz the manga isn't done yet..and I don't think it'll be done anytime soon xD
Those moles – it make it seem as if his face is a chocolate chip cookie xD
I’m starting to notice the moles less and less now, lolol you can play connect the dots on his face xD I still think it’s better off with 2 moles instead of 3 >_<
Yeah, Yukio shooting all those demons is pretty cool~ I never thought pure and innocent face can do such a thing. I guess, looks really deceiving me sometimes. I thought he is more to a good boy that excellent well in his study and weak in other things, I guess not. (He is more suits to be a doctor)
Well the moment Rin slash the demon behind Yukio is beyond cool. This make a shounen anime so epic. Love that scene. XD
I’m really looking forward for the introduction of their classmates and I’m kinda excited to see their ability ^^
Mmhm I agree, perfect straight A students usually don’t have a badass side to them. I think he’s gonna be like a doctor exorcist person as soon as he get past being a teacher and taking care of Rin.
Lolol really? I thought the slash scene was too quick, it should have been really dramatic >:3 Intro of classmates will begin next next ep, which is.. ep 5~~ I’m pretty excited too :D
The episode really showed the brotherhood of Rin and Yukio. It’s really well done.
I really liked all the backflashes of their childhood, funny how there were ONLY blackflashes of Rin and Father Fujimoto before xD Personally I thought the whole brotherhood scene was kinda good and bad :3
I agree that the animation could have been better, but darn was that some cool shootin’ ! And those pointy ears, they are too cute!
I hope the epic fights come soon but it doesn’t look like there’ll be any more shooting for a while :T YES THE EARS! THEY’RE SUPER CUTE AREN’T THEY? ^_^ I wonder what happens if someone pulls it XDD
