Yes I know I’m sooo late with this …why do I even bother? ~.~ lol all I did was copy everything from chartfag and ANN, literally. Okay lets start:

Okami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi

STORYLINE:The story centers around Ryouko Ookami, girl known for her fierce looks, canine teeth, and wild demeanor. Ringo Akai is a short angelic girl with a deceptively dark demeanor. Together with their odd friends, they fight to change the world one issue at a time.
RUBY: The main girl strongly reminds me of Taiga from Toradora, they seem really similar. Let’s see I’m not really interested in watching the show, it looks dull and boring.
FOSH: After watching the first episode I really enjoyed the mixture of fairy tale elements, definitely going to be a fun show, great animation and fun characters. Also love the way Ryoko Okami fights using the cat like boxing gloves

Amagami SS

STORYLINE: An adaptation of the PS2 game; The story centers around a second-year high school boy who dislikes Christmas due to a past experience. This year he has his last chance to ask out the graduating seniors. The anime will be arranged in an omnibus format, focusing on the story of each heroine.
RUBY:A romance show eh?? looks decent, nothing special. I’ll probably end up watching the whole series when it finishes since I don’t like waiting for these kind of shows.
FOSH: Looks to be a light and fun romance show a few interesting characters and familiar voices from other shows mostly the VA of Mikoto Misaka from Rail gun

The legend of the Legendary Heroes

STORYLINE: Raina Ryu to always dozes off at the Roland Imperial Special Academy. When he gets caught in a war waged by Kingdom of Esutaburu, he is sent on a quest by Emperor Shion Asutaru, in spite of the enveloping darkness that has begun to consume the empire.
RUBY:I’m not a fan of medieval times stuff but this show looks really cool! I’m excited ^^ I love all the magical and fantasy stuff~ <
FOSH: With a strange name that makes you go huh? legend looks odd and more comedic than anything to me, sort of reminds me of Familiar of Zero with the setting being fantasy and magic. From the trailer I liked the character designs and the environment as well, chances of blogging this might be slim compared to many of the other shows might be fun to watch rather than review but we shall see! might be a great show or a huge flop.

Kuroshitsuji Season II

STORYLINE: A sequel to the first Kuroshitsuji anime, about a 12 year old English Noble and his impeccably skilled butler, who happens to be a demon. The new series will introduce butler Claude Faustus and master Alois Trancy as the principal characters.
RUBY: OMG season 2!! The manga is super awesome. Season one only followed the manga storyline half way through then changed totally which was alright, I wanted to see it stick with the manga a little more. The main character is really cute but this personality is too innocent & happy, I liked Ciel better and I can’t tell if the butler is Sebastian or not. After watching the trailer it seems to have a similar storyline to the first season which seems really boring, I was hoping for something new.

Shukufuku no Campanella

Mitsudomoe

STORYLINE:Mitsudomoe centers around the comedic misadventures of the mischevious Marui triploets of Class 6-3: The precocious and sadistic girl Mitsuba, the lecherous muscle girl Futaba and the somewhat mysterious girl Hitoha
RUBY: I don’t think I’m going to watch this either, seems to kiddish.

Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~

STORYLINE:Sekirei: Pure Engagement is the continuation to the first season. It follows the lazy but intelligent Minato Sahashi who becomes the master of a girl called Musubi, one of 108 Sekirei. They are beautiful men and women that fight in competition held by the mysterious MBI corporation.
RUBY: Although it seems like there’s going to be boobs bouncing everywhere, I probably going to end up watching this. The trailer looks really cool and good quality, I like all the magical powers and stuff, not sure about blogging though. It’s a maybe.

Seitokai Yakuindomo

STORYLINE: Takatoshi is a new student in a recently gender-integrated high school, and is asked to join the student council as the vice president. Thus begins his days as the only normal boy among 3 female student council officers.
RUBY:This seems like a potentially good show but I end up dropping slice of life types, its really boring.

High school of the Dead

STORYLINE: The world is plunged into chaos when an outbreak of supposed disease transmitted by bites causes people to become the living dead. In Japan a group of students and a nurse find their high school overrun, and must group together to escape and survive.
RUBY: This looks like its going to be so awesome! ZOMBIES!! wow, definitely not recommended for little kids. Storyline sounds awesome and quality looks really good. Can’t wait! xD
FOSH:This anime looks really great for a fun summer show full of zombies and tough students who have to survive against the undead, with plenty of horror and mixture of ecchi filled fan service. Really enjoyed the manga from what I read and saw I am interested in seeing what they keep in and what they remove, this is a great change from all the vampire themed shows out there so its nice to see zombies. Chances of me blogging this might be high appears to be a popular show for this summer, makes me wish Capcom would do a Resident Evil anime much like their Devil May Cry. So look forward to seeing this on Banana Muffin! ;D

Occult Academy

STORYLINE: The third in TV Tokyo’s Anime no Chikarar project. The horror and school comedy story revolves around mystery and supernatural cases at Occult Academy, a fortress like academy city.
RUBY: I’m really excited for this, it looks interesting! I love mysteries stuff!
FOSH: Looks rather interesting seems they are going to show vampires,werewolves,aliens and other things related to the supernatural, character designs look nice and seems to be a mystery going around too.

Digimon Xros Wars

STORYLINE:Little is known of the actualy story content of the anime apart from that it will involve battles based on the Sengoku period and will follow a more traditional setting. It is meant to coincide with the release of new toy straps and capsules.
RUBY: Hahaha digimon lol I remember watching it when I was a kid. Chances of me watching this is pretty low, I feel too old to be watching little kid shows xD

Stitch! ~Zutto Saiko no Tomodachi~

STORYLINE:The new series continues the story of the alien creature Stitch and its human friend Yuna. In the new series, Yuna moves from Izayoi island to Okinawa’s New Town, and transfer to a new school.
RUBY: Hahaha Stitch is being made into a anime series? sounds fun. What happened to the other little girl he was with? Oh I see, he ditched her for a white girl xD Chances of me watching this show is pretty low too since it seems to be for little kids.

Nurarihyon no Mago

STORYLINE: Rikuo Nura is 3 parts human and 1 part demon and lives in a house full of spirits with his grandfather who is the head of the Nura clan – a title Rikuo must inherit despite the dislike he has for his demon side.
RUBY:#1 show for the season! I’m definitely looking forward to this, it looks really cool but who knows it might not be that great. The white hair guy really catches my attention xD

Strike witches Season II

STORYLINE:Taking over from Gonzo, AIC are animating the first season’s continuation. Set in 1939, it follows an Elite Task Force create to fight the enigmatic Neuroi. It combines the magic of young witches gathered from all over the world with new erial weapons called Striker Units.
RUBY: Don’t think I’m watching this.
FOSH: Strike Witches was a show I passed when it first came out thinking oh this is going to be some loli show, but it turned out to have a pretty interesting story along with some fun characters to watch there were a few episodes of fan service things but what show doesn’t have that. I am interested in seeing what the next season holds with the girls being older I wonder if they will have a brand new cast of characters, or bring in the previous characters back for more crazy flying gun action. Chances of blogging this might be slightly slim.

Shiki

Genre: Mystery, horror, supernatural

STORYLINE: During a hot summer in the quiet Sotoba village bizarre, inexplicable deaths begin to happen, and a strange family move into a long abandoned mansion. Hospital dean Toshio Ozaki is caught up with the investigations between hospital staff and the local residents.
RUBY: This might sound a little silly but when I was watching the trailer I was covering my eyes the whole time and closed it half way through since I was scared something was going to pop out at the end xD ironically I’m a big fan of horror stuff so I’m definitely going to watch this!
FOSH: Story for this show looks really great has a bit of Higurashi feel to it with the mystery of how people are dying off in this village, great animation and cool character designs looks to be a fun show.

Sengoku Basara Season II

RUBY: Yay season 2!! I was really happy to hear about it from Fosh. I loved the first season although the ending was really corny, my favorite character is Date! I can’t wait to see more of him xD
FOSH:Really enjoyed the first season really getting into all of the over the top crazy fights, the story was a bit boring for me as I was more wanting to see people get the crap kicked out of them. So looking forward for more crazy quotes from Date Masamune.

Asobi ni Iku Yo

STORYLINE:Kio Kakazu is a high school freshman living in Okinawa. During a memorial service for a family ancestor a mysterious girl with cat ears appears before him introducing herself as an alien called Eris, bringing trouble with her.
RUBY: The girl ears are really adorable! Unfortunately that’s not enough to catch my interest.
FOSH: Story sounds a bit generic a bit like Toloveru with a alien girl who appears and brings trouble with her. But this time its a cat girl, dunno about this show might be a bit repetitive in the long run.

Alright! so that’s all for summer, a few shows already came out so I’ll be doing a first impressions on those when I have time. Sorry this post is so late, I’ll try to get a earlier season preview for fall. And lets not forget about BRS coming out hopefully before September~
