Welcome to another Durarara!! review..
Second episode was a step back sort of we follow the stories of two girls, Anri Sonohara and Rio Kamichika as we listen two i think two different stories about the girls life outside of school. We learn much more about Rio thou, she was the girl kidnapped in the first episode so this one pretty much leads up to Rio’s kidnapping and extra meeting Izaya Orihara who is the quote “bad” guy of the show, and some student showing up late to class telling the teacher he can’t attend classes this sparks Anri to follow and find out why.

End of episode two, this episode was kind of hard to poke fun at..more serious stuff in this one with Rio’s family issues and Anri’s family both having similar problems. The best part was seeing Izaya show up revealing a bit more of his character, seems he is allied with our “neko ranger” somehow or using each other? not sure yet but i do enjoy how he acts around people. Next episode seems Mikado gets to meet Anri (seems he likes her Aww love lol) and more showing off of more fun characters!
Yeah, idk, I was kind of looking forward to you talking a little more about the neko ranger and how her personality is unfolding, or speculating what you think (presumably) she is. But in general, this episode was great. I definitely enjoyed it. In my little review, it spawned me to make a “what makes an anime great,” post.
True she does appear to be a hero type of person but also seems to be a hired hand guess working for who ever needs her,but I agree great episode enjoyed how they did a bit of recap in the opening thought that was nice i hate shows that do the opening then waste 3 to 4 minutes recap what happened last time.Nice ill read your post =D
The neko rider rocks! When I saw this episode it made me change my impression of her. At first I thought she was just the silent type but she actually had so much to say and it left a very deep meaning at that.

@Sapphire pyro Yeah i think so too hes good at being both!, and i agree i just think she does whatever not choosing a side she has her own goals looking for her head…and all that lol.
I have a few ideas and thoughts on this show but i will let it play out and see ;D

My fav character so far is Izaya!! yay the evil villain <33!!! hes so cool, the headless rider is pretty interesting, I didn't know that it was girl o_o but yeah, he doesn't seem to be allied with the Neko Ranger, maybe it's more like a business relationship. Also the Neko ranger (haha it's so funny how you call her that xD) seems like a really good hearted person! those shadow powers thing is pretty cool too, I wonder if anyone else has powers? ahh ep 3 came out! so exciting :3
Yeah i know ruby i know -nod- ill try to, lol thanks i like the nick name too! it fits. Izaya is great hes one of my favorites too but looking forward to the guy who throws vending machines he seems wild and crazy, but i think your right more of a business deal between them.
